2100: Dawn of the Dead

In 2045, deep within a military base in Scotland, a group of British scientists had created a weapon called the "Prometheus Virus", in which it could raise the dead back to life and create a collective. hive-minded society. It was kept secret from the public when the scientists had realized that the end result was the creation of the undead. By 2050, due to one accident, the undead broke loose and multiplied in numbers with in the British Isles and northern France, By 2052, they had spread throughout Europe, Russia, and Africa, causing the collapse of governments around the globe and the rise of militia groups that ceased power. By 2070, a ruthless warlord with American ideals of capitalism, patriotism, democracy, and Christian Nationalism had unified the numerous tribes within the former nations of Canada and the US and drove out the undead hordes form the western hemisphere. By 2076, the British Isles had also be purified from the plague and decided to join the American and Canadian forces to form the Anglo-American Commonwealth, dominating much of the globe. AT the same year, a few survivalists from Korea, China, and Japan began to form their own superstate known as the East Asian Federation, a brutal dictatorship with fascist beliefs and an iron grudge against Anglo-American superiority both economically, militarily, and politically. In 2081, small pockets of pro-communists and radical-minded socialists destroy the undead in mainland Europe and Sicily and then launched an invasion on Iran. The end result was the formation of the Marxist totalitarian regime of the Neo-Warsaw Pact. In response, groups of fanatical Muslims began burning books that go against their religion and established the Holy Islamic Empire, controlling the whole of Africa and all that remains of the Middle East with Cairo as their capital. In 2093, however, a small, artificial island was discovered in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, serving as a neutral power with extremely high GDP and a enormous collection of knowledge and information. There, the Republic of New Atlantis was founded with a more utopian society that was protected and governed by an oligarchy of scientists and businessmen form around the globe.

Its the year 2100, and the undead continue to attack numerous villages and farms within Latin America, Southern Africa, Australia, India, Iran, and Northeast Siberia. No one can be trusted, since the idea of an alliance with another nation is almost impossible, due to extremist idealism and militaristic behavior. This is a world in which war, famine, and political upheaval are most common outside the isolationist nation of New Atlantis. As of now, the zombies have been barred off from the uninfected areas and wars between humanity and the undead, as well as wars between nations, have both become common within this dystopian world with every city remaining in ruins with the exception of the government buildings, pyramid-shaped hotels, and hospitals that tower over the decaying buildings. As of Antarctica, due to its barren terran of snow and ice, has become an undead stronghold that keeps the world powers under the dark influence of fear and terror. As the conflict around the globe continues, fears of a new virus would occur in the minds of the masses, thus leading to a dark era of superstition and ignorance.
