Here is the flag of the Galactic Alliance of Free Nations (GAFN), the official international organization formed by Earth, the CIN, Zhou, and other Human nations. It serves as the primary control over the Human race as it functions as a Constitutional Republic (much like the United States) with some elements of a Parliamentary government (like Britain, Sweden, and Spain). Based on the UN, it also has certain laws and policies that protect the equality, freedom, rights of human beings and promotes xenophobic propaganda, since they hate aliens. In truth, however, it is actually a tool used by the Earth Federation to control the Colonies as the GAFN headquarters is within Tokyo, Japan. It was established in 2221 AD, when the War of Thirds had finally came to an end, turning Earth into a superpower while Zhou and the CIN were defeated and humiliated in front of the rest of the Colonies. By 2230 AD, the Alliance's original capital, Warsaw, Poland, was deemed "unfit" towards those who were right-winged, thus moving the capital to New York. However, a year later, the Left-winged politicians rejected the idea and forced the GAFN to move the capital to Moscow, Russia. The religious fanatics responded with anger and demanded the capital to be in the Vatican. Ultimately, this almost led into civil war until 2242, when the GAFN had finally decided to move the capital to Tokyo, in which both three parties disliked the idea, but agreed with it. It currently faces problems with socialists, communists, fascists, anarchists, and primarily, a resistance movement called the Liberators.
The GAFN shouldn't let the Leftists, Rightists, or Religious Extremists tell it what to do. They should make their own decisions.
Well, its more like a certain place where there is a problem and that they each point out decisions for the GAFN to come up with a solution. They are not much of a nation. They are more like a club.
Well it seems like the Leftists, Rightists, and Religious Extremists sort of just commanded them to do it and they did.
Its an international organization similar to the United Nations and has historical links with the United States, Britain, Sweden, and Spain. However, some elements of the Russian Federation are also present, such as the eagle on the flag. Their laws are much like those in the UN and are responsible for keeping law and order stable as well as protecting certain inalienable rights.
What's their cultural/legal stance on artificial sapience?
