Once, in the land called Adelitha, located on the planet that will soon be known as the great fortress world of Arminius, a small village was established within the great plains near the vast mountains. It was here in which the great goddess and mother of our race, Terra, had been born. As a child, she lived within the plains with her eight brothers and was the youngest of them. Unlike the other mutants, who were cursed with hideousness and held immortal lives only to obtain more suffering, she was the most beautiful and most generous. Her unlimited years of life fit perfectly with her undying charms and her holy spirit. It was then that the Ancient ones had descended upon her world and took her and her brothers into the Worldship.

When they arrived, they were separated from each other. Terra soon wept as she continued to beg to the Ancient ones into letting her go and have her brothers back. The Ancient Ones, although puzzled at first, soon began to understand her pain. However, they sought to bring her and her brothers to their true destiny. They brought forth ancient powers of the Divine that made her grow wings on her back and then gave her the power to heal, cure, and protect those she cared the most. Thus, our Great Goddess and Divine Empress of the Universe came into being, along with her siblings: Aratok, god of fire and treachery, Ovelos, god of war and anger, Xelnos, god of wind and plenty, Uroban, god of wisdom and time, Creas, god of lightning and strife, Hetanos, god of earth and blacksmithing, Crasnos, god of technology and iron, and Thyderios, god of nature and order. As for Terra, she was the goddess of war, justice, marriage, and motherhood.

When they returned, the Nine Divines sought to unite the mutant people of Arminius, but each one sought to be the leader and declared all others unworthy for such a task. Their followers became fearful and they began sacrificing their maidens in order to gain their favor, pleading them to stop. When Terra was about to witness the first sacrificial plead to by her followers, she commanded them to cease and release the maiden. She then spoke to her followers:

"Thou of my kind shall not kill another for my favor for I forbid thee so. My dearest children, it breaks my heart when our race has lost its sanity to such a barbaric ritual. It shall never happen again for it will only favor the will of my evil brothers."

When her brothers had heard of this, they were enraged and they sought to go against her as well as each other. One by one, the divines and their followers began to destroy each other until at last, only Terra and her brother, Ovelos remained. There, a great battle between her and the vicious hordes of the Evil One, leaving not a single insect living. The buildings were burnt to the ground, heretics terrorized the countryside, followers of Terra liberated their brothers from the war camps, and starvation drove many non-believers into eating each other in the name of Ovelos, the Traitor Lord. The war lasted for two years and three days until finally, after a long struggle, Terra beheaded her wicked brother and tossed his face into the Pit of the Wrathful, the first of the Seven Pits of Hell.

When the great battle was over, peace was restored, and thus we, the Mongooseral race, came into being for she liberated us and cured us from our sinful disease and restored order throughout the universe. Our precious gift from Terra was her divine gratefulness. Suddenly, she began to bleed from the wound on her belly, where her brother had struck. She looked at us and said that we were her legacy and that we must not let our sins determine our fate. And so she died and her spirit became our holy protector. And so we, her holy children, shall follow her where ever she went and we shall find ourselves a world without sin, without misery, without grief, and without pain. Thus, we shall follow her into the Great Promise and remain her righteous children for an eternity.
Here is my first attempt of creating a story for the Germanican Empire's religious beliefs.
