Here is an Alternate History map of some of the modern world's greatest empire. Not all of them are literally "tyrannical", but I've just did that to show how big they would all be if thy survived to the 21st century. I'm sorry that there is no USA or China or Mexico, if any of you were expecting that. I've gave the empires both their greatest extents, along with some extra territories in order to make the world in this map civilized.
