Description

The Ulkain-Vog are the primal, frog-like gods of the Saurians of the jungle world of Prehistora and the rulers of both it and those that live on it. They wield a tremendous amount of power that can lead vast armies of their followers as well as creating portals in other worlds, although this ability can be achieved through a sacrificial ritual. They live within the vast ruins of Obogolak, Sshaldum, and Dektoomar. Although few in number, they are seen as a terrifying threat to many Aurelians.

According to historians and scientists, the Ulkain-Vog were originally from another galaxy and then arrived to Zarmartia millions of years ago, when the Komari and their vast empire had both reached their greatest extent of dominance. Like the natives, the colonists were highly advanced and possess immortality, although the roots behind this were more spiritual than scientific.

In 630 million BC, the Ulkain-Vog began to gather the Saurians from the western half of the galaxy and invaded its core, starting the Saurian-Komari War. Ultimately, the Saurians were defeated with about 50 percent of the Saurians killed while 30 percent of them were forced into leaving the galaxy. The Ulkain-Vog, who were forced into being exiled on the planet Prehistora, transforming their enemies, the Komari, into a dominant power.

Eventually, during the Komari-Homunculus War, the Ulkain-Vog dominated the province of what is now Aurelia, enslaving the native tribes such as the Shume and the Huklars. After the war, however, much of their territory was lost and were forced into becoming a minority within the sector. Although a broken shadow of their former empire, the Ulkain-Vog remains a dominant power over the planet Prehistora, along with the worlds that surround it.

The culture of the Ulkain-Vog is strange, although many can conclude that they view themselves as gods and wear jewelry around their necks. During times of peace, they would often use their powers to force "lesser beings" into entertaining them.
